Inside Front of Peugeot 207
Dashboard - Driving seat
Nothing to say here. It is Peugeot, looks like Peugeot, smells like Peugeot..
Oh yes, maybe something: quality of materials is supposed to be enhanced, and closer to german cars than italian cars - or even cheap-looking inside of 206 -.
So what? If Fiat can improve their interiors, if Peugeot stops to be so cheap and starts to put some money on the table they should be able to do the same.
A little bit like on the Citroën C3, there seems to be several interior tones, more or less dark.
Let's just hope we won't have to choose for the highest versions to get the light-colored tones, more welcoming.

Here is a view of the driver's environment and of the dashboard of Peugeot 207.
The wheel seems very classic (but classic is not ennemy of good, right?).Looks like a 206 wheel though, quite disappointing for a brand new car.
With some imagination, the wavy shape of the dashboard is a reminder of the radiator grill of the sport version, like we can see on the next picture.
The shape of ventilator reminds us the shape of the head light (ok you need some imagination here).
Pas mal pour mettre des cartes routières.

Dark tones on the inside here. Sporty looking, but not too much welcoming. Bright colors seem better.

Reading of essential informations is easy. But plastic around these meters look a little bit cheap.

Air-conditionning buttons are practical, but look more like "80's" than 2005. Quite sad. They should put more fancy stuff here.

The car shown here has a robotized gearbox (Tip-Tronic for Peugeot).

Dashboard has some pure design.
But it seems to be a one part piece. Meaning: if ever the passenger airbag is activated, you'll have to change the whole dashboard....

Manual gear. Gearshift looks a lot like Citroen C3.
